About these terms
These terms apply when you use armourware.com. By using the site, you accept them. If you don’t, please don’t use the site.
They cover the website only. Training we deliver for your organisation is governed by a separate written proposal and agreement, which takes precedence over anything on this site.
Who runs this site
armourware.com is run by Armourware, a cybersecurity awareness company and part of Solveware (Pty) Ltd, a private company registered in South Africa (registration number 2026/515568/07). You can reach us at hello@armourware.com.
The information on this site
The site describes our training and shares general guidance on staying safe from scams. It isn’t legal, financial or technical advice for your situation. We work to keep it accurate and current, but package and module details can change, and what we deliver is the scope set out in your written proposal.
Using the site
Please use the site lawfully. In particular, don’t:
- try to break, overload or gain unauthorised access to the site or its systems;
- send false, abusive or automated messages through the contact form;
- use the site or our name to deceive anyone, including in phishing or impersonation.
If you’ve found a security weakness, please report it under our responsible disclosure policy.
Our name, logo and content
Armourware™ and the Armourware logo are trade marks. The text, design, photographs, film and training materials on this site belong to Solveware (Pty) Ltd or to the people who licensed them to us.
You’re welcome to link to any page, quote short passages with credit to Armourware, and use our logo unaltered to refer to us. Please don’t copy our modules, scenarios or materials to train others, or use our name in a way that suggests we endorse you, without our written permission.
Links to other sites
Where we link to another website, such as the Information Regulator, we don’t control it and aren’t responsible for its content or how it handles your information.
Our responsibility
We provide the site as it is and can’t promise it will always be available or free of errors. To the extent the law allows, we aren’t liable for loss that results from using the site or relying on its general information. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under the Consumer Protection Act or other law that can’t be excluded.
Privacy
How we handle personal information is set out in our privacy notice, and the site sets no cookies, as explained in our cookie notice.
The law that applies
These terms are governed by the law of the Republic of South Africa, and South African courts have jurisdiction over any dispute about them.
